Kunming Police dog Base

The Kunming Police dog Base was founded in 1981,and it is located in the mountain in Heilongtan Park in Kunming, Yunnan province, and covering 78893 square meters. The main function is administering the police dog technological work in Kunming part (including Yunnan, Sichuan, Chongqin, Guizhou, Xizang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan).
The Kunming police dog base focuses on such research works as extension and use of kunming dogs, training of police dogs and use of them on the science.
The base has enough basic equipment and technological power for the breeding, training, teaching and scientific research. Since 1982, the base has trained 745 handlers and offered 4070 police dogs. There are 3 scientific research results won the First Price of The ministry of Public Security technological Progressing Price, The Second Price of National Technological Progressing .
